Nowruz Kids’ Workshop 2024
Date: Sunday 3/17 from 11:00am to 1:00pm or 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Spring is nearly here! Come join us for a pastry-making workshop celebrating Nowruz. We'll be meeting outdoors, crafting traditional Nowruz pastries with guest host Jassi Danesch, our friend, an Iranian pastry chef from Fooris Art of Baking. Alongside our baking, we'll enjoy storytelling, games, and a tasty Iranian lunch with refreshments. Note: This workshop is drop-off only and for ages 7-15.

Spring is here! Join us for our annual Nowruz workshop! We will work together in person in an outdoor setting to plant and design your own Nowruz Pomegranate Tree while learning about various aspects of this annual Iranian cultural tradition. We will also play games, tell stories and have an Iranian lunch and drinks. Please Note: This is a drop off workshop.

Nowruz Poetry & Wine Gathering 2018

Please join us on Saturday, March 24th for a fun Nowruz gathering with wine, poetry and Persian mysticism (شعر و شراب). Selections from Rumi and Ferdowsi, as well as an interesting presentation on the mystical symbolism of the traditional Haft-sin spread.
